Congressional Term Limits Petition
WHEREAS the people’s representatives are not accountable to the people, but to the special interests that fund their campaigns;
WHEREAS the people are lied to by pandering career politicians looking to expand their power;
WHEREAS usurpations on the liberty of the people, and the sovereignty of the States have become common practice;
WHEREAS Politicians enrich themselves and their well connected friends on the backs of the taxpayer;
NOW THEREFORE, WE THE PEOPLE; exercising our inalienable right under the first amendment, to petition our government for a redress of grievances; call on the respective legislatures of two thirds of our Sovereign States to propose an amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which will impose strict term limits of two terms for United States Senators, and three terms for United States Congressional Representatives.
